1. Overview & Commitment to Privacy
At LocalPrint Technologies ("LocalPrint", "we", "our", or "us"), we prioritize the security and confidentiality of your personal information and documents. This Privacy Policy details how we collect, handle, process, and safeguard your data when using our website (localprints.vercel.app), cloud printing agents, and self-service store kiosks.
2. Information We Collect
A. Customer Order Data: When you submit a print job, we may collect your optional name, phone number (for SMS/receipt tracking), document file name, page count, and print configuration.
B. Document Files: Digital files (PDF, DOCX, JPG, PNG) uploaded for the sole purpose of temporary rendering and physical printing at your selected local print station.
C. Payment Information: All payments are processed via PCI-DSS certified payment gateways (e.g. Razorpay). LocalPrint does not store your debit/credit card numbers, CVVs, or UPI banking passwords.
D. Store Partner Information: Store name, owner name, email address, store address, contact phone, and UPI payee details for shopkeepers.
3. Automatic Document Purging & Encryption
We operate a strict zero-retention policy for customer documents:
- All file transmissions are protected with industry-standard 256-bit TLS/SSL encryption.
- Customer files are processed in secure serverless memory and sent directly to the paired local PC printer agent.
- Temporary file storage links expire automatically and are permanently destroyed within 24 hours.
4. Sharing of Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties. Information is only shared in the following necessary circumstances:
- With Local Store Attendant: The selected print shop receives only the job token code, print parameters, and document payload to complete physical printing.
- Payment Processing: Transaction metadata is shared securely with Razorpay / UPI aggregators to verify successful payment.
- Legal Compliance: When mandated by applicable Indian law or government law enforcement authorities.
5. Cookies and Technical Analytics
We use essential session cookies to maintain your login credentials and store cart state. No invasive advertising trackers are utilized.
6. Security Measures
LocalPrint implements multi-layered security controls, including HMAC cryptographic verification for payment webhooks, role-based database access, and restricted agent API tokens to prevent unauthorized data access.
